The Reverse Business Plan® process:

Drawing from my personal experience as an entrepreneur and my professional experience over the past 20 years, my goal is to help business owners maximize the value and benefits from their business so they can fulfill their goals and objectives.

I accomplish this by designing a custom Reverse Business Plan® for every client. A
Reverse Business Plan® is a process that addresses four major issues: What you have, how to grow, how to protect and how, when or if to transition from your business so you can accomplish personal, family and business goals by maximizing value, minimizing taxes and controlling ownership through different scenarios.

"Custom" means just for you, and the first step is to get to know you and fully understand what's important to you. So please come on by and lets get to know each other while we enjoy a cup of coffee.

 
 

The Reverse Business Plan® is a three stage process:

Stage 1: Establish the Prime Directive

  • These are clearly defined Personal, Family and Business goals and objectives from the owners’ point of view. We also identify who will have an influential say at major decision points.
  • This stage sets the True North that will give direction to the plan and to everyone involved or affected by it.

Stage 2: Analysis and recommendations

  • We break down the issues to determine what needs to be worked on and identify who needs to be involved.
  • We identify opportunities, vulnerabilities and potential strategies to meet the goals established in stage 1.
  • This stage is about determining what works, what doesn’t and what could be done to improve value and reduce risk.

Stage 3: Implementation

  • Using the findings from stages 1 and 2 of the Reverse Business Plan® we create an action item checklist to work through with the owners to prioritize the issues, decide on timelines and determine the level of help needed to accomplish these objectives.
  • Implementation is what will help you reach the goals established in stage 1.
